Hi all,
this is a video I recorded sound for, along Unity House Films for the charity YSM (Your Square Mile), an organisation working along the less fortunate communities all over UK. They gather with voluntary neighbours, talk about the biggest problems they may have, suggest own solutions and agree on how are they going to spend the money they are funded with. Great atmosphere, brilliant speeches and big sense of community.
In November 2012, they hosted a workshop bringing together the community across Moss Side & Hulme in Manchester. These are the thoughts, ideas and projects that came out of it.
I hope you guys enjoy it,
Manzed.

I’m writing this post to show you an advance of what is going to be my new corporate image. Logo and typography to come but here you can get an idea of how is going to look like. I’m also preparing to move into my own domain and wordpress.org. Still a tiny while to see the webpage finished and uploaded, but new identity, colours, logo, etc. can be figured out from this advance pic I post today.
I hope you like it!!

This morning, wondering around with my computer I decided to purchase a domain for my page so I could get it named manzed.com, rather than with the annoying .wordpress encapsulated, in order to have a more professional look as well as creating my own domain email too, which looks even more professional.
I carried out all procedures in order to buy it, paid by card and in about 1 hour I already had my brand new domain, personalised e-mails and all kind of features for under £20 a year. I was pretty happy setting up all this at the same time I was enjoying all my new features.
After I read a forum thread, the exciting moments I was having on my desk’s chair turned to sour up my morning, becoming more and more sour as threads were passing through my eyesight. One after another, they were building up the completely opposite to knowledge, in other words, ignorance. Every link I clicked, thread I followed, video or tutorial I watched, my mind was falling deep in the ever-happy world of ignorance (for whoever is not conscious of being in). I was totally overwhelmed by the amount of knowledge but at the same time, my head was forcing me to keep on reading and absorbing so after say, 3 hours, what I had in my mind was really close to these tag clouds the people (myself included) use in their blogs to search through the most used tag words. But my mind had them in floating like you hang a cloth with a peg, but one on top of another. – Too much new information to be processed, both good but also bad -, I thought. Not having time to do everything properly as a perfectionist I am and having to do things without fully understanding, I decided to cancel my subscription (2 days to cancel and refund) undo everything I had done and started from scratch in the exceptional world of php, MySQL, registrers, hosts, servers, proxys etc. as I goal I have set to myself.
I won’t pay a penny to get my webpage/blog up and running, but it looks like I am going to spend quite a lot reading about all this in order to at least create something professionally presentable. Never mind this will take me a while, for the time being I’ll be using the templates, themes and layouts provided until I’ll be capable of putting together one by myself.
Don’t know when this time will come but I’m sure it’ll be one of the happiest moments of my life.

Well, way long since I last posted, I am pretty busy at the moment so I’m having no time for the blog, although I should devote some time every now and then. Here is an updated version of my showreel of the current year, hope you like it!!
